Information you provide

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we receive the email address you submit and the date of subscription. If you email us, we receive your message and email address. We use that information to reply and, if you subscribed, to send the newsletter.

Newsletter provider

Newsletter signup is handled by a third-party email provider. Their form and privacy practices apply when you submit your address. Replace the newsletter form action in src/config/site.ts with your provider’s endpoint before launch.

Cookies and analytics

This template does not include advertising cookies or third-party analytics by default. If you add analytics later, update this policy and use a privacy-respecting configuration. Do not add tracking scripts that collect health information or sensitive personal data.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may set cookies and receive standard request information such as your IP address, browser, and the page you came from. Their privacy policy applies from that point. We do not receive your payment details.

Articles link to research, regulators, manufacturers, and retailers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Data retention and requests

We keep newsletter and correspondence data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. To request access, correction, or deletion, email [email protected].

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
